Abstract:Certain company under CNOOC has a project named BZ28/34 power grid interlink project. In the project, BZ34-2 EP and BZ34-4 EP were powered by submarine cable which connected to the central platform BZ34-I CEP, and the existing submarine cable had not enough spare cores to EMS system. In order to put BZ34-2 EP and BZ34-4 EP into the BZ28/34 power system to achieve better stability control, at the same time take cost, construction period ,and installation into choice consideration, we adopt advanced technology and more reliable system--WiMAX wireless microwave communication technology. The application of this technology greatly reduces the cost of the project and provides valuable experience for the later similar projects as well.
