Abstract:Based on differentiating the avoidable and inevitable heat exergy loss, heat exergy utilization is defined and used to evaluate the exergy consumption of crude oil pipeline under different working conditions, which can truly reflect effective heat exergy utilization level. A pipeline of Daqing oilfield is taken as an example, the heat exergy utilization of the crude oil pipeline under different operation conditions is calculated and analyzed, and the effects of pipe diameter, crude oil throughput, outbound temperature and insulation thickness on it are studied. The orthogonal experiments are made to compare the influence of the factors. The results show that influences of the four factors from high to low are pipe diameter, crude oil throughput, the outbound temperature and insulation thickness, which could provide certain theoretical basis for the optimal operation of crude oil pipeline.
