The marketization reform is the inevitable choice of the sustainable development of natural gas in China. Based on the analysis of the current situation and problems of marketization reform of natural gas in China, through the comparative analysis of the background, implementation route,objectivemodeof foreign gasmarketization reform and the mechanism of China natural gas industry chain, the objective model of Chinese natural gas industry is designed, and five suggestions are put forward, that is, to intensify the research of natural gas legislation, to promote the enactment ofNaturalGasLawor thePetroleum andNaturalGasLawby thenational people's congress, prepareand form natural gas regulatory agencies or departments,actively promotethe reform of natural gas system, deepen the reform of natural gas pricing, establishregional gas trading centerandcarry out online and offline natural gas trading and so on.
