    Abstract:

In order to explore the new method of cavitation water jet applied to the cleaning and rusting of oil storage tank and oil pipeline and improve the efficiency and safety of cleaning and rusting, four different submerged cavitation water jet nozzles were designed. Based on the method of erosion test, the erosion performance of four submerged cavitation water jet nozzles was experimentally compared with the angle nozzle. The key factors of inlet pressure and target distance were compared and analyzed. The results show that the jet is sprayed from the nozzle into a white mist, and with the harsh noise. The noise indicates the sound of the cavitation burst; increasing the inlet pressure of the nozzle can effectively improve the erosion ability of the nozzle. The erosion ability of the four submerged cavitation jet nozzles is stronger than that of the angle nozzle due to the cavitation effect; under the same conditions, the streamlined structure of the nozzle in the submerged jet nozzle is better than the tapered structure, and the tapered structure is superior to the cylindrical structure; the optimal target distance is related to the structure of the nozzle. The optimal target distance of the submerged cavitation water jet nozzle is between 30mm and 40mm. The test provides reference for the cleaning and rusting of tanks and oil pipelines.
