In recent years, overseas oil and gas engineering investment has become more frequent, but there are still many differences in investment composition and software application between overseas and domestic engineering.Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (ACCE) software has a wide range of computational models and tools, and is widely used in overseas engineering projects.Based on the typical investment composition of ACCE software, this paper analyzes the difference between domestic and foreign softwares from four aspects: function, scope of application, price database and report structure.Finally, in terms ofcost estimation plan, professional technology, application scope, investment composition,price database, cost coding, plans and interpretation of statements progress, suggestions are presented on the use of software in overseas oil and gas engineering investments.
