    Abstract:

Compared with hot desulfurization process, white eggshell and granular activated carbon were used as catalysts to study the influencing factors of light naphtha desulfurization, and the optimum conditions of light naphtha desulfurization were determined by using a variety of design parameters. The influencing factors of light naphtha desulfurization mainly include the ratio of hydrogen peroxide and light naphtha,pH value of solution, stirring speed, temperature, contact time and catalyst dosage. The results show that the conversion of thermal desulfurization is low, while that of granular activated carbon is high. The desulfurization efficiency is inversely proportional to the pH of the solutionand in direct proportion to other influencing factors. The catalytic desulfurization method is suitable, economical and environmental friendly to achieve zero residue level. The results can provide basis for the selection of light naphtha desulfurization methods.
