    Abstract:

In the design of the buried pipeline network of the factory, the AutoCAD electronic drafting board and the common 3D factory design mode are employed for the pipeline design, which have shortcomings such as short design cycle, frequent modification and complicated annotation on the plane graph. With the wide application of the digital design platform, the efficiency and quality of 3D design is expected to be improved. The PDMS secondary plug-in has been developed for the factory buried pipeline network so as to meet the requirements of high efficiency and high accuracy of the digital design platform. The plug-in has improved the efficiency and quality of the pipe layout and the outcome documents, reducing the workload and personal errors.Furthermore, it can also import the general layout, carry out the hydraulic calculation of the rainwater pipeline, etc, which fulfills the intelligent design of the buried pipeline network, and promotes the digital collaborative design of the project.
