Abstract:
In order to overcome the difficulties in aged oil
treatment in Liaohe oilfield, namely its demulsification and dehydration, the
Initiator was synthesized using phenol, ethylene glycol, hydrogen chloride,
formaldehyde and triethylenetetramine. The Initiator was then polymerized with
ethylene oxide and propylene oxide to form a polyether demulsifier, and
modified with benzyl chloride or 2,6-toluene diisocyanate to obtain a modified
aged oil polyether demulsifier. In this study, the cloud point and HLB value of
the polyether demulsifier were analyzed, and the dehydration experiment of aged
oil in Liaohe oilfield was carried out. The results showed that the water-soluble
modified aged oil demulsifier has the best demulsification effect. The water-soluble
modified aged oil demulsifier WLJEP5 had a demulsification rate of 95.72% at 85 ℃, which is 8% higher than that of the existing aged oil demulsifier
used in Liaohe oilfield. This paper provides valuable reference for improving
the demulsification efficiency of aged oil and overcoming challenges such as
difficulties in its dehydration.
