    Abstract:

The core business of data asset management in intelligent oil and gas fields include enhancing the degree of managing data as an asset, ensuring fast delivery, agile application and highly efficient data search and access of these data assets. This paper presents the findings of a study that analyzes the objectives, contents and methods of data asset management of intelligent oil and gas fields, and proposes a data coding model and its coding rules based on fixed code. Such coding model and rules can associate the physical entity objects of the intelligent oil and gas field and the data describing the physical entity objects. Meanwhile, the development of intelligent oil and gas fields usingapplied ecologyas supported bydata ecologyis further enhanced, promoting the continuous release of the value of the data asset. Finally, discussion over the application methods and scenarios of data coding has been carried out, which provides methodological and technical reference for researchers or practitioners of data asset management in intelligent oil and gas fields.
