    Abstract:

In order to implement the requirements of low cost and high quality development of natural gas purification plant, it is proposed to extend the period between maintenance cycle of the plant(long cycle operation) and reduce the incidence of equipment and facility failure and corrosion rate. This paper analyzes the long-cycle operation of natural gas purification plant and proposes countermeasures to ensure the steady realisation of the significant goal of stable operation of the purification plant in the long-cycle operation mode. This paper presents an in-depth analysis on the current situation, key factors and management safeguards for the long-cycle operation of natural gas purification plants in Sichuan and Chongqing. The paper proposes that the operation of natural gas purification plants should focus on seven key factors, including legal compliance, feed gas quality, water and power supply, quality of catalyst and solvent, system water quality control, robust instrumentation system, and corrosion protection. Adaptive upgrading and optimization can be performed from design, manufacturing, construction, operation, maintenance, management, operation, etc., while fully applying the four new technologies(new techniques, new process, new materials, new equipments) and information technology to establish a complete set of management measures and achieve sustainable long term efficient and safe operation, enhance the overall quality and capability of personnel, so as to provide reference for promoting the long-cycle operation of natural gas purification facilities.
