    Abstract:

Corrosion and perforation of pipelines in a block of Sichuan-Chongqing shale gas field affects the normal operation of the station, posing challenges to maintenance, resulting in high risks and putting pressures on safety and environmental protection. Therefore, through the physical and chemical experimental analysis of the transmission medium and corrosion products, combined with the loop simulation test, it is clear that the main cause of pipeline corrosion is electrochemical corrosion resulted from microbial corrosion, supplemented by CO2 corrosion. At the same time, elbow perforation is aggravated by scouring. Through measures such as corrosion inhibitor and bactericide injection, antibacterial steel pipe replacement and optimization of desander, the effective control of pipeline corrosion and perforation in gas gathering station is achieved, and the normal operation of the station can be guaranteed. The result is of great significance to the safe, stable, efficient and sustainable development of shale gas field, and provides reference for addressing corrosion issues in the development of gas fields of the same nature both at home and abroad.
