    Research on pressure step-down production technology and its application in deep water gas field

    Abstract:In order to fully understand and accurately grasp the application of pressure step-down production technology in the natural gas production of deep water gas fields, the typical deep water gas field A in the eastern South China Sea is taken as the research object. By analyzing and researching the significance and difficulties of pressure step-down production of deep water gas fields, combined with the initial production plan of deep water gas fields, the pressure step-down production technology of natural gas in deep water gas fields was studied and designed. The core points and key technologies of pressure step-down production technology are:1)changing 2 to N-stage refined gas reservoir to depressurize and tap the potential residual energy;2)strategy analysis and optimization based on simulation software to ensure the flow assurance of deep water subsea pipeline;3)make innovation in equipment selection and transformation, and enhance the stability of process flow;4)make innovation in the commissioning process and pressure step-down procedure to achieve non-stop commissioning and pressure step-down. After the successful implementation of pressure step-down production technology in the deep water gas field, the single well productivity reached 800×103 m3 per day, reducing the total energy consumption by 2.34 t standard coal every year. This research provides important reference for the further study of pressure step-down and stable production of deep water gas fields
