Abstract:In order to solve the problem that it is difficult to detect water and control water for screen completed oil wells in offshore oilfield, the preset packer outside of screen or Annulus Chemical Packer(ACP) is used to plug the annular space between screen and wellbore. On this basis, the piece wise tubular column of ground control valve is placed into the well. The water production of each section can be defined by adjusting the valve. At the same time, we can achieve the goal of WSO(Water Shutoff). If the effect is desirable, the construction will be ended, otherwise, the chemical plugging agent will be injected into the designated deep reservoir through the piece wise tubular column of ground control valve to improve WSO effect. The field application of two oil wells showed this technology has obvious effect of increasing oil and reducing water, which provided technical support for water shutoff in offshore oilfield.
