    Abstract:

With the development pace of urbanization and the expansion of industrial gas usage, the application of gas transmission and distribution equipment with high-pressure differential and large volume flow has become more and more common. The accompanying noise problem has gradually become the focus of people's attention, and if not properly controlled, will cause huge harm to the environment and equipment. In response to this problem, based on the requirements of relevant national standards for environmental noise, relevant technical materials and industrial experience were studied, and the causes and mechanisms of valve noise and pipeline noise in gas transmission and distribution were expounded in detail. Based on this analysis and research, the typical built-in silencers and external silencers for reducing valve noise are systematically summarized, and various schemes for reducing pipeline noise, pipe manifold noise and pipeline accessory noise are summarized in detail. The research results provide a variety of alternative solutions for noise control in gas transmission and distribution and have strong reference significance for such situation.
