    Abstract:

    The installation of a bypass return valve in the compressor unit of the compressor station is of great significance to prevent compressor surge and prolong the service life of the anti-surge valve. However, the return valve can only be operated manually and cannot be automatically controlled at present, resulting in low efficiency and energy waste. In this paper, the necessity of the automatic control design of the return valve was demonstrated through in-depth investigation of the application status of the return valve and the analysis of the daily return flow based on a large amount of data. The characteristic curve under the actual working conditions was fitted based on similarity conversion. The two-dimensional fuzzy controller for the valve opening was established by comprehensively considering the influence of the deviation between the inlet flow and the set flow and the deviation change rate on the opening of the return valve. Finally, the simulation model of the return valve control system was established based on MATLAB Simulink software. The results show that the average return flow in the automatic control mode is reduced by 6.3% compared with the manual control mode, and the expected cost saving is 653 600 yuan per year. The research methods and results can provide reference for the compressor anti-surge design and operation optimization in the future.
