    Abstract:

Aiming at the issue of serious water channeling caused by tight reservoir and developed fractures in Chang-8 reservoir of Honghe Oilfield, a high-strength plugging system suitable for fractured reservoirs was developed by analyzing the characteristics of fractures and water channeling. The gelling time was adjustable for 5~20 hours, the salt tolerance was 10×104 mg/L, and the breakthrough pressure gradient was 5 MPa/m, which was 0.082~0.125 MPa/m higher than the starting pressure gradient of matrix. The field plugging efficiency is 100%, the water injection pressure is increased by 10.2 MPa after profile control, and the oil production is increased by 260.9 t in stages, which effectively solves the issue of water channeling during water injection development in fractured reservoirs.
