    Abstract:

Fiber-reinforced plastic pressure vessels offer numerous benefits, including excellent corrosion resistance, high specific strength, superior fatigue resistance, lightweight construction, ease of molding, and good insulation properties. As a result, their application in the oil and gas industry has seen a gradual increase in recent years. This paper begins by outlining the current applications and molding processes of fiber-reinforced plastic pressure vessels in domestic oil fields. It then proceeds to analyze and summarize the factors influencing the performance of these vessels. Following this, this paper introduces the relevant standards governing fiber-reinforced plastic pressure vessels and provides a comprehensive review of both domestic and international research on their non-destructive testing. This study concludes by offering insights into the potential future developments of fiber-reinforced plastic pressure vessels within the oil field sector.
