    Abstract:

    Engineering companies in the oil and gas industry are experiencing rapid transformation towards digital and intelligent development, which will have a significant impact on the company’s internal quality and efficiency improvement as well as external innovative services. This paper presents a comprehensive and systematic analysis of the latest developments and future trends in digital intelligence technology within the oil and gas industry at home and abroad. It offers a detailed analysis of the distinctive business characteristics and primary challenges faced by these companies. In view of the above, this study devised a comprehensive strategic framework for the digital transformation and intelligent development of engineering companies in the oil and gas industry, encompassing five pivotal domains: digital collaborative design, digital intelligent collaborative construction, digital asset delivery, integrated management and control, as well as intelligent production operation and business management. The paper then proceeds to put forward the corresponding strategic vision and implementation path. The objective of this research is to provide guidance on the strategic deployment of and as a reference for the implementation of digital transformation and intelligent development strategies of engineering companies in the oil and gas industry.
