    Abstract:

Inspection, repair and maintenance are the ways to ensure safe operation of natural gas treatment plant. At present, some gas field treatment plants still adopt the maintenance mode of one maintenance shutdown per year. While increasing the frequency of maintenance is more conducive in keeping track of the operating conditions of the plants, a high-frequency maintenance approach not only impacts production and raises costs but also causes fluctuations in process parameters of the facilities, which can easily lead to equipment failures. To explore long cycle operation of gas field treatment plants, this paper investigates the key constraints affecting the extension of operation cycle for these plants, identifies the critical restrictive factors, and proposes optimization strategies to address them. In addition, an optimization method of the scheduled inspection date of special equipment has been developed. These findings provide enterprises with a methodological basis for extending the interval between maintenance cycles of gas field treatment plants.
