The corrosion to the inner and outer wall of steel pipe differs seriously because of complex and varied marine environment and different working medium. There are numerous examples of corrosion accidents and cases in offshore oil field, which has been already caused for concern. Steel Framed Plastic Pipe with its excellent performance and low cost has been alternatives of carbon steel and other metal materials, which can be applied to sea water system of offshore oil platform.
