伊朗西南部Fars地区上二叠至下三叠统碳酸盐岩具有巨大的勘探潜力,储层层序地层研究是进一步勘探的关键。基于岩心、薄片及测井资料综合分析,系统识别了伊朗西南部Fars地区上二叠—下三叠统上Dalan和Kangan组碳酸盐岩的5类岩相组合(潮上萨布哈、潮坪、泻湖、浅滩和开阔海)及13种岩相类型,分别建立了海侵期和海退期碳酸盐岩缓坡台地沉积模式。基于层序地层学分析,将研究层段划分为4个三级层序(KS4-KS1):KS4层序呈现浅水局限相→小型鲕粒滩→大型鲕粒滩的进积序列;KS3以高盐度泻湖和滩后相为特征;KS2反映开阔海中发育的浅滩—滩前沉积;KS1反映泻湖—潮坪—萨布哈旋回。沉积微相和层序控制上Dalan和Kangan组储层发育特征和分布。研究结果为明确伊朗西南部上二叠至下三叠统碳酸盐岩储层分布规律提供依据,更为波斯湾盆地同类碳酸盐岩油气藏的勘探开发提供了理论支撑。
Upper Permian to Lower Triassic carbonate rocks in the Fars region, southwestern Iran, possess significant exploration potential. Reservoir sequence stratigraphic studies are crucial for further exploration. Based on integrated analysis of core samples, thin sections, and well-log data, this study systematically identifies five lithofacies associations(supratidal Sabkha, tidal flat, lagoon, shoal, and open marine) and thirteen specific lithofacies types within the Upper Dalan and Kangan formations(Upper Permian-Lower Triassic) in the Fars region, southwestem Iran. Separate depositional models of carbonate ramp platform were developed for the transgressive and regressive phases, respectively. Based on sequence stratigraphic analysis, the studied interval was divided into four third-order sequences(KS4 to KS1): KS4 exhibited a progradational succession from shallow restricted facies to small oolitic shoals and then to large oolitic shoals. KS3 was characterized by high-salinity lagoonal and back-shoal facies. KS2 reflected shoal-to-foreshoal deposition within an open marine system. KS1 recorded a lagoon-tidal flat-supratidal Sabkha cycle, indicative of regression. Depositional microfacies and sequence stratigraphic architecture control the characteristics and distribution of reservoirs within the Upper Dalan and Kangan formations. This study provides a critical basis for delineating the distribution patterns of Upper Permian-Lower Triassic carbonate reservoirs in southwestern Iran and offers valuable theoretical support for the exploration and development of carbonate hydrocarbon reservoirs of the same nature in the Persian Gulf Basin.
