    Abstract:The string corrosion environment of Lower Paleozoic gas reservoir in Changqing Jingbian Gas Field is very complex. The corrosion medium generally contains C02, H2S and high salinity formation water. In order to fully find out corrosion status of strings, developed and applied are many advanced measuring instruments, such as multi-finger imaging tool (MIT), magnetic thickness tool (MTT) and electromagnetic imaging detector logging tool (MID-K). Application of these technologies can avoid the limitations of wellbore corrosion coupon test and the tubing material analysis. The corrosion status of strings, the distribution of corrosion and the severe corrosive blocks are found out by 61 wells/72 times massive corrosion detection, which will provide a technical basis for improvement of corrosion control measures, production management and workover operation.
