    Application of Pipeline Sensitivity Pressure Test in Well Site A

    Abstract:

    Qualified equipment and materials are an important guarantee of oil and gas field surface engineering construction quality and sensitivity pressure test on oil and gas pipelines is one of the important means for on-site quality inspection on equipment and materials, which is crucial to reduce probability of accident happening due to defective materials in H2S-containing gas field surface construction. Taking sensitivity pressure test on skid-mounted systems in well site A for example, analyzed was the system safety and reliability through sensitivity pressure test before it was put into production and found out were cracks existing in materials of skid-mounted systems used in sour environments. Conducted was laboratory testing on such materials and it was found that there would be some risks if the systems made of such materials with cracks were put into operation. Replacement of the defective materials guaranteed subsequent safe operation of the gas field, which has accumulated valuable application experience for sensitivity pressure test.
