    Design of Homing and Locking Device for Crane Arm in Skid-mounted LNG Loading Facility

    Abstract:In order to improve the safety of loading operation of skid-mounted LNG loading facility and strengthen the safety awareness of operating personnel, with the help of batch control instrument loading platform, used are such devices as automatic locking bolt and travel switch and applied is the signal detection technique of DCS control system to design a homing locking device for crane arm of skid-mounted LNG loading facility and applied is the device in actual loading operation. Actual application results show that the new homing locking device can implement signal detection and feedback of crane arm homing state, operation process can be effectively controlled, misoperation and interference of other factors can be reduced greatly, which can help to protect the safety of operating personnel. Effective application of this device at LNG loading stations has fully demonstrated its safety and practicability.
