    Characterization of Precision Geological Modeling for Complex Fault-block Reservoir in Northern Dagang Oilfield

    Abstract:Complex configuration relationship is a typical characteristic in complex fault-block reservoir and accurate and quantitative description of such reservoir is important and difficult in geological modeling. In Northern Dagang Oilfield complex fault-block reservoir development, fully used are such information of earthquake, geology, logging, drilling, core, etc. to establish high precision reservoir model by multiple achievements fusion and multiple conditions collaboration. By means of "Level-control, Step-simulate" structure modeling rule, effectively solved is the complex fault-block reservoir modeling problem. Analyzed is grid system to describe geologic body accurately. Applied is the "Multi-dimensional Cooperation, Facies Sequence Constraints Simulation"  to build property model to achieve the purposes of phased-array and better relative physical parameters. Strengthened is study on the "sweet spot" areas, used are different stochastic simulation methods to establish reservoir architecture level model and characterize inner reservoir heterogeneity accurately. These technological means can not only improve the accuracy of the model, but also reduce reservoir uncertainty, which will provide an objective and scientific precision geological model for similar oilfield development.
